I'm not sure how much difference the belts make anyway since the seats have nothing holding them from falling forward. If you leaned on the seat in front of you, it went forward. This was taken after landing, when all seats with nobody in them fell forward. We were laughing, but only because it was over, we were honestly a little bit scared during this flight (the only flight ever we've felt not completely comfortable). Luckily we were on a newer (it couldn't actually get any older unless they still had the Wright Bros aircraft) bigger normal airplane on the flight from Moscow to Beijing.
