pic picFeb 01, 2004 - AISB! The beautiful 25 acre campus of the American International School of Budapest in Nagykovácsi, and the soccer pitch on the right.

This campus opened in September 2000, and houses the 3rd through 12th grade (pre-K to 2nd is still at the old campus in Budapest where M went during 2nd grade). The Upper Elementary, Middle School and High School are all in separate areas of the building.

pic picFeb 03, 2004 - Mackenzie and her homeroom (along with Lit, Lang Art, Advisory and Activity period) teacher, Doug Rudnicki. He's from Canada, eh. Ontario Providence.

Mr. Rudnicki is leaving AISB at the end of the school year, click here to hear (2MB mov) Mackenzie's good-bye poem she penned.

Matt Piercy, Mackenzie's Ancient Civilizations teacher (one of the student council advisors and softball coach). Mr. P is from Denver and taught in Quito, Equador before coming to AISB. Kind of sounds like we're introducing the contestants for the Miss America pageant - and in his spare time...

Mackenzie with Patty Devlin, her math teacher (other softball coach). Ms. Devlin is from San Francisco and taught in Kobe, Japan at the Canadian Academy.

Mackenzie's Science teacher, Theresa Rekawek (pronounced Renkavek). Ms. Rekawek is from Michigan, the Jell-0 belt of the USA (and also showed us the good chocolate to use for chocolate chip cookies)!

Ross MacLean and Mackenzie. Mr. MacLean teaches 7th grade Math and is the advisor for the Math Counts program. He's from Canada too, eh!

Sarah (she was in M's 2nd grade class here too), Adi, Mackenzie and Debra in Ancient Civ class. They were the winners of the class Jeopardy game and are holding their prize, an Anubis God figurine! László is just in the picture for fun!
