March 10, 2004 - The Middle School Band and choir put on a concert tonight. First the choir did a few numbers and then the band played a few songs. They were all really good! Here are Mackenzie and a couple of her friends (Debby and Sonja I think) who play in the band or sing on the choir. Mackenzie does both so she sang then ran back to get her trombone and joined the band on stage.
March 19, 2004 - Friday, no school for the kids because the annual Eastern European teacher conference started this morning. The Upper Elementary and Middle School choir joined together in the opening of the conference. Here they are warming up in the lobby and then inside the conference room belting it out for the teachers. They were darn good!
May 1, 2004 - Softball now! The team played Vienna, Mackenzie got a double her first up at bat and advanced to third but their team got out before she had a chance to get home (she's in the one closest to third base, next to the coach in the red sweatshirt, they just got their third out). Since it's middle school and the kids can't hit as far, there is Mackenzie in her right field position (right in the dirt part of the field)!

The students were welcomed by the director then told to choose hats off the table. This ended up being the colored group they would follow to visit various parts of the school. The idea was to see what and how students at Prizma school are taught. Continue on
