As we wandered around Dam Square we saw this cool round window so the kids went into the department store to see if they could get there. They could only get up to the second floor (they're to the left of the middle set of windows). And the close up!

Mackenzie and Lindsey up in David's room (at the window) just before they spilled tea.

Lindsey and Mackenzie next to a statue of Anne Frank. We had gone through the Anne Frank house that morning.

Mackenzie and Lindsey on the Magere Brug (skinny bridge). This is the most photographed bridge in Amsterdam and has been around since the 1670's. It started as a pedestrian bridge and has been widened and rebuilt over time.

The kids played for awhile and we took some pictures of the bikes going over the bridge.

pic picThis is at the floating flower market where Lindsey bought some tulip bulbs to take home. Lots and lots of flowers here. Later that evening we saw the movie Hildalgo. Note: You can always find movies in other countries in English with the native sub-titles, the only problem is when the movie has parts of a foreign language and they show sub-titles, those are still in the native language. For those of you who have seen Hildalgo, you'll know.

One of the many bridges at night.
